MSG Danube Logistics SRL

The headquarters of MSG Danube Logistics are located in the centre of the Romanian inland shipping industry. Galati, an important industrial centre in Romania, has a population of around 220,000 and is the second largest training location for inland navigation operators in Southeast Europe.

With the founding of MSG Danube Logistics in 2024, MSG expanded its activities and network in south-east Europe. The location also became a welcome point of contact and local competence centre for all MSG skippers.

The cooperation with the local AVIDA was further intensified in the course of this foundation. The two Romanian engineers Coreliu Barbu and Vlad Dobrai, who act as managing directors of MSG Danube Logistics alongside an MSG representative, are consistently expanding the technical expertise in the region in close cooperation with the MSG shipyard in Dorfprozelten.

MSG Danube Logistics also recognises local talent and will promote it – and thus further advance inland shipping.
