MSG and Amer Shipping from Raamsdonksveer jointly founded Stream Shipping B.V. in Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands, in 2024. Stream Shipping aims not only to be a star in the freight forwarding industry in inland waterway transport, but also to offer its customers innovative, sustainable and completely environmentally friendly logistics services on the waterways.
At the end of October of the same year, two new ships were christened and put into service – the AM-Voyager and AM-Explorer. The ships are built according to the latest findings, combining shipbuilding efficiency with logistics, thus formulating a claim to innovation leadership. The ships are equipped with modern Stage V engines and can operate almost CO2-neutrally with the appropriate fuels. They can also navigate in low water and carry a corresponding tonnage.
